It's not easy being green....

Lately, as I look for clothes I have been keeping one key factor in mind. Is this organic/sustainable? Yep, I have been caught up in the "green craze" that has been sweeping the nation, and I am loving it! However, because of its brisk ascension into popularity, finding "green" clothing has been slightly expensive. Particularly for a soon to be college student who is despretley trying to save money!
Shockingly, WalMart has been my saving grace. They offer 100% organic cotton tees and tanks in several colors. They also have organic towels and bedding (which is great for dorm room shopping)

Now to some delightful outfit pics!

The world of summer fashion has officially hit my doorstep! I have been living in sandals, skirts, dresses, and shorts. Managing to stay cool while at the same time, exposing the rest of the world to my "fish belly white" legs...as my mom so lovingly refers to them!

Wow...I have problems

The whole "I am determined to blog more" thing, just doesn't seem to work out well for me. Ces't la vie I guess! Anyway..consider it a brief hiatus and now think of me as officially back (at least until further notice).
My life has changed considerably during the past few weeks. I graduated from high school just last night, and now feel totally different. I never thought that would happen to me, even though it was a big occasion. I feel like I have passed into the stage known as adulthood. I have entered into the realm of responsibility, and I am starting to feel the "weight" of it if you will...
Enough of the serious, and into the fashion...
I have had a variety of outfits these several weeks...but I only managed to take pictures of a few of them. I just got a camera for my grad. gift, so all of that will soon change!

Shirt: Forever 21
Skirt: Van Heusen
Scarf: Coach
Shoes: Bass

Shirt: Thrifted

I suppose that is good for now..
Hopefully this is not the end for a month or so...but we'll see;-)

La Dee Da....

So..I should really work on posting more often. I feel as if I haven't been on in ages.
So, Spring is most definately in the air and I believe I have a case of spring fever. When I can't stop frolicking at work, you know that there is some sort of problem.
But it is a problem that I would be loathe to part from.

Ahhh florals..I have been addicted to the lovely flowers which have been popping up everywhere lately. It is a very new phenomenon to me, but I am loving it!!!

The Acadamy Awards....Red Carpet Dahling!!!!

This is the one award show that I can actually stand to sit through.
I think part of the reason, is the Red Carpet Pre-show..
If fabulosity were actually a word, it would apply to this event.
Here are my best *and worst* picks of the night.

Fabulosity:

Has Amy Adams been in anything other than "Enchanted"?? Loved this dress, and the bag was simply splendid!

I loved the unique quality of this dress. I am not generally a huge fan of red dresses, but this one took the cake!

So this was probably one of my favorite dresses of the night! I loved it. The details at the bottom were great, and I loved how she had her hair in a ponytail! Tres Chic!

Cameron caught a lot of flack for this dress, but I really like it. The color is so soft, and the design so simplistic, that you pretty much can't go wrong with this!

So Ellen Page just looked cute! I loved the flapper-esqe dress!

Another Dress that I absolutley loved!!! loved the nude color, and I thought the necklace made the whole thing look very eclectic, which I love!

I had to post my favorite guy!!! I was unsure of who he actually was when he first came onto the carpet, but i knew that he looked good! I thought that Javier was pretty much the best dressed guy in the place!

I am sorry that the images are so small...however I am sure that you get the general gist!
Next time I will post some outfits, if I can get my camera up and running that is;-)
